Malaria is a fatal disease caused by the female anopheles mosquito. Malaria is an acute febrile illness caused by Plasmodium parasites. Although this disease is not contagious, it is very easily spread in underdeveloped countries like Africa due to the abundance of unclean environments and stagnant waters.
How is it cured?

Herbs such as Morinda Lucida (Oruwo), Enantia chlorantha (Awopa), Alstonia boonei (Ahun), and Khaya grandifoliola (Oganwo) plants were found to be in used for malaria therapeutic procedures at Okeigbo, Southwest Nigeria. The bark, leaves, roots, and stalks of such plants are boiled/ dried, stored, and used.
In Ethiopia, a concoction of Ajuga remota and Tabasco pepper is used to substantially remove parasitaemia such as Plasmodium.
In sangeto Nigeria, a concoction of alcohol-soaked bark and herbs, popularly known as Agbo, is used to cure parasites like Plasmodium, fairly curing malaria.
